Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY, Kenneth received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the State University of New York at Albany. Wanting to pursue a career in law enforcement, he joined the United States Capitol Police in 2007. Upon graduation from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Kenneth was selected for the Agency’s First Responder Unit (FRU). In 2011, Kenneth passed the rigorous selection process for the US Capitol Police’s elite Anti-terrorism tactical team named Containment and Emergency Response Team (CERT). While assigned to CERT, he became a firearms instructor, team medic (EMT-B) and Master Tactical Breacher, with a specialized focus on explosives and energetics. Kenneth has served during numerous Presidential Inaugurations and State of the Union events and was a first responder to the shooting of Congressman Steve Scalise in 2017. In 2018, he left federal law enforcement to continue his career in the private sector, working private security details for high profile and high net worth clients all over the world.
